Founded by Russell Yordy Jr. in 1972, Cabinet Surplus of Dewart has been in continuous operation for over 33 years. Mr. Yordy introduced three of his sons into the family business at young ages, the three brothers who operate the business have over 90 years combined experience in the kitchen and bath business.

Cabinet Surplus of Dewart occupies the former Sheffer Ice Cream Factory, plus two newer buildings with a total square footage of 86,800. Cabinet Surplus started by selling only surplus and scratch and dent merchandise, gradually branching out to new merchandise, bath supplies, and later doors and windows.

Currently Cabinet Surplus is focusing on extensive showroom renovations, spotlighting high quality manufacturers. We also have a custom counter top shop. Having a counter top shop on site results in lower counter top prices, plus a faster turn around for counter orders.
